80%+ of People Wearing Masks Would Result in 1/12th Infection Rate

Coronavirus News

When you see footage or photos from S. Korea, China, or Japan, one thing stands out immediately. Everyone is wearing a mask. Children, the elderly, middle-aged individuals, men, women.

Everyone.

Up until today there was not much science that had been done around the subject in America. A new team has modeled infection rates with and without masks, and found that with 80% or more of people wearing masks and social distancing, the live infection rate works out to 1/12th of what it would be otherwise. It’s plainly visible in the difference in death rates as well, with the masked countries boasting day to day death rates far below ours even when adjusted for population.

Masks. Save. Lives

Always social distance in public and, most importantly, wear a mask. If you’re wondering whether to wear or not to wear, consider this.
